FANTASTIC NEWS :The legendary Patriots player left New England, but it’s “still home.”

Using a second-round selection in 2010, the New England Patriots selected an upstate New Yorker who had played collegiate ball at Arizona. It turned out to be among the greatest choices the franchise has ever made.

In the fourteen years that have passed, Rob Gronkowski has solidified his status as one of the most cherished players in Patriots history. Love is reciprocal.

The four-time Super Bowl champion was in Hopkinton on Monday getting ready to lead the Boston Marathon as grand marshal in 2024. Gronkowski is currently retired and working on TV and other media projects. He does, however, assert that he will always have a bond with the location of his NFL career beginning.

 

“Dude, it’s still home.” Gronkowski told WCVB-TV Boston, “New England will always be a part of history and my hiring and will always be a home in my heart as well. “That is beyond dispute. I’ll be returning every time.

Before retiring, Gronkowski spent his first nine seasons in the NFL with the Patriots, where he won three Super Bowls. But he ended his playing career by moving to Tampa Bay to play quarterback for quarterback Tom Brady, where he won four Super Bowls with the Buccaneers.

Despite playing in Tampa late in his career, Gronkowski has remained close to New England. Gronkowski, who returned to Massachusetts on Monday, acknowledged the fervor of the local fan base and gave an explanation of why he feels so loved.
