FANTASTIC NEWS : Anthony Edwards Is Confident Ahead of Tough 2024 Playoff Series vs Suns.
The Minnesota Timberwolves were projected to be the Western Conference’s two-seed at the end of the 2023–2024 campaign. Nobody could deny how excellent of a squad Anthony Edwards and the rest of the roster have been this season. They have played outstanding basketball.
They will, however, have a difficult task in the opening round of the playoffs. In their three meetings this season, they have not defeated the Phoenix Suns, who have shown to be formidable opponents. They lost the season finale, falling from the second seed into the third spot because they were unable to stop Bradley Beal from doing everything he pleased on the court.
Any fan of the Timberwolves would be concerned about playing in the first round of the playoffs against a team that they had difficulty against all season. But like any good superstar, their main player is expressing to the world that he isn’t concerned about their troubles versus the Suns during the regular season.
The Georgia product responded to inquiries regarding his team’s next Suns series. Naturally, the media brought up the regular-season record and questioned him if his Wolves could defeat them in crunch time.
Edwards answered with an absolute confidence. Even Rudy Gobert, a colleague, contributed his ideas.
If Devin Booker, Kevin Durant, and Bradley Beal all start shooting extremely well, it will be difficult for the Wolves to stop a three-headed dragon. Edwards, though, has proven he is capable of competing with the best of them. His averages per game are 25.9 points, 5.4 rebounds, and 5.1 assists. He shoots 36% from outside the arc and 46% from the field.
