Aaron Rodgers and Packers’ fans alike were shocked when the team made the decision to trade up in the first round of the 2020 NFL Draft to select quarterback Jordan Love. Green Bay has always followed the philosophy “draft a quarterback when you don’t need one.”

Recently, Aaron Schatz at ESPN put together an article highlighting the young talent on each team. Based on September 1st, 2024 as the cutoff date, he evaluated every player aged under 25 across the league.
The Green Bay Packers ranked 17th on this list in 2023. They have jumped up to No. 9 in Schatz’s ranking for 2024, a significant jump.
